In my career in digital media, I’ve been a story editor, assignment editor, and copy/line editor (or sub-editor as the Brits call it).

I most recently was deputy editor at Jezebel, where I remain a contributing editor. Before that, I worked at Business Insider, HuffPost, and The Trace, and I started my career as an editorial fellow at The Atlantic.

My byline has appeared in many outlets. For Jezebel, I reported on politics; frequently covered breaking news; and wrote voicey pieces about books, television and culture. In the past year, I wrote about the intersection of lifestyle and the economy for The Distance, and contributed a personal essay to the Bowdoin alumni magazine. Previously, my work has appeared in The Trace, the LSE politics blog, and The Atlantic.

I’ve edited academic work, including The Politics of Public Broadcasting in Britain and Japan (Routledge, 2023), and appeared on current affairs podcasts.

I also hold an MSc in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
